Roadkill (1989)

Roadkill is an independent Canadian film from 1989. Quirky, with a great soundtrack and interesting cast including cameos from the likes of Joey Ramone.
This is the opening credits featuring "Put the Blame on Me" by Handsome Ned & The Sidewinders. Tragically, handsome Ned died of a heroin overdose at age 29, two years before the movie came out. He is recognized now as having paved the way for bands such as Coyboy Junkies and Blue Oyster Cult.
