The story coming out is messed up…
As someone who was on the ground floor of this research effort, I am pleased that something may actually happen finally. It is over 20 years in getting to this point.
That said, wires have been crossed . What was said by Ms. Luna was not entirely accurate.
1. The films (note the plural) are not new to those who follow the case and were never hidden. There are copies of of copies of copies all over the net.
2. Oswald was not “near the limo”.
If these were not the result of misunderstanding between Ms. Luna and the person I know to be the source, then she has deliberately “sexed” it up for drama and sound bytes.
The films were by two NBC cameramen whose cameras swept the book depository steps seconds after the shots.
The films show employees of the building crowded on those steps. Every single person has been identified from statements they gave the FBI stating where they were at the time of the shots. Every person that is, except one. That person is standing in the back corner. It is a young white male in worker’s clothing.
Then in 2019, a colleague, Bart Kamp, found the interrogation notes of FBI Agent Hosty in the archives of Malcolm Blunt. Hosty claimed during the original inquiry the time that he destroyed them.
Hosty instead, kept his notes with the intent of writing a book, which he eventually did – leaving out the part where he quoted Oswald as stating that he had gone outside to watch the president’s parade.
Hosty instead, stuck to the lies he put in his report – written like all the other interrogation reports, after Oswald was killed.
The value of the original films is that experts have told us that scans from these will show enough clarity to positively rule the mystery man in or out as Oswald. For more on the timeline of that lunch hour, see https://pinboard.opera.com/…/297798f3-a48a-47a8-8d2a…
Or read the books on the subject by Stan Dane and Bart Kamp.
None of this happens without my original work being followed up by others and I won’t sit back and watch 20 years of slogging away trying to get this into the spotlight, tossed down the toilet by people playing politics with it.
I hope from here on, some accuracy will creep into the unfolding story and that the films are successfully obtained and examined. I won’t need to comment further if that happens.
Please help me keep going by fueling my caffeine needs!

With the spotlight being put on them, I think NBC will have to pony the films or face some real stigma. And, once viewed, it will become obvious that Lee was executed before he could talk.
Otherwise, we might have to gird up for battle yet again.
I think you’re right on all fronts, but time will tell.
