Stephen Miller: If You’re Listening Podcast

He is no one’s space cowboy, or gangsta of love.

One of the most astute podcasters out there is Matt Bevan. His latest episode is on Stephen Miller, giving a rare and reasoned insight into the man.

Bevan’s conclusion is simple, elegant and fact-based. Miller started trolling his way to infamy in High School – something that Bevan – who is around Miller’s age can confirm was a “thing” in those days.

Do and say the most outlandish things you can think of to get attention. To stand out. Most leave that behind in high school. Most don’t have the ambition to see how far they can take it, or to parlay it into a career. Miller had that ambition.

Miller is the driving force behind

Immigration policy
The drone strikes
The push to get Greenland
The ICE invasion of blue states
The bullshit excuses for the murder of two people by Federal Agents
And —- well —- just about every major initiative of the Trump Presidency.

Including the push for unlimited presidential powers and abolition, or limiting of elections.

It’s a sweet deal all round. Trump loves the accoutrements and pageantry of having a kingdom. Gets to remodel the White House in the style of an Istanbul Massage Parlor. Gets to monetize his position and use the White House as a money-making machine. Miller is not interested in any of the that. For him, it’s the power that he wants. And any power bestowed upon Trump defers to Miller. In short both get what they want so long as they stay in the White House.

As Bevan points out – Miller is far from finished. He is simply in strategic withdrawal, but he will be back, steamrolling his way to push through the remainder of his agenda over at least the next three years.

I’ve written a tribute to Stephen Miller which I’ll release sometime this year.

I hope the troll enjoys it.

Here’s a teaser of the lyrics
